It's not just moreish, it's Lickerish
Where can you go to relax after a hard day at work or to linger over a long lunch with friends? Somewhere with options to suit your mood... Do you feel like a quick snack or maybe a three course dinner? A casual cup of coffee or a lingering glass of smooth red wine? Lickerish's fabulous owners (John and Justine Hall of My Restaurant Rules fame) have just the place for you.
The restaurant, with amazing views along the iconic Semaphore Road strip.
Located upstairs above No. 26, Semaphore Road, this funky restaurant features a spacious dining room complemented by two balcony areas that can be reserved for private groups. These offer a wonderful ambiance where you can be captivated by the bustling street below and of course sunsets over the ocean. Inside, vibrant artworks adorn the walls breathing colour into the space and hinting at the creativity and innovation of the owners.

The unique centrepiece arrangements were a favourite of ours.
Lickerish's already fully customisable menu is enhanced by a specials board of delights available for a limited time. Not only is this a great way to try new dishes but is a fantastic way for John and Justine to show off their passion for food. We couldn't pass up the Beef & Brie Burger topped off with a glass of red. The beef pattie itself was delicious and cooked to perfection with spicy flavours offset by the buttery soft texture of the slightly melted brie. This one goes on our list as one of the better burgers we have had in a while.
The Beef & Brie burger was a special of the day. It was just that.
The Duck Breast Salad was another selection from the special menu and within a few bites it quickly became our favourite meal of the evening. The crispy salted skin gave way to the succulent delicacy underneath. This is what dreams are made of, enhanced further by the burst of sweet pear and the curtness of radish. This dish is a summer delight that is sure to please.
Our favourite dish from Lickerish - the duck breast salad.
If you are a sweet-tooth or a cheese-lover then Lickerish has got you covered with their dessert menu, including all time favourites such as homemade apple pie, lemon curd tart, chocolate mousse and a selection of cheeses. We opted for the creme brulee and were not disappointed. A perfectly burnt crust masked the smooth custard underneath. Our only complaint? We should definitely have ordered one each as it was much too tasty to share.
Stickies and dessert wines are available to spice things up, simply ask and Lickerish shall provide.

If you're looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon Lickerish regularly host live performances to get your groove going before the new work week begins. Listen to some great music and enjoy the atmosphere while supporting local artists and those just starting out to find their way.

From personal experience we know that the wonderful staff at Lickerish will go out of their way to make you feel thoroughly spoilt and looked after. You can customise their existing menu options or leave it all up to John and Justine to create a dining experience just for you.
