Serious outdoor fun at the Dock Playground
Right at the pointy end of Docklands is Library at the Dock a newly built community hub with a great collection of books and lots of activities for all ages, definitely worth checking out.

Loads to explore

If the kids have picked up their favourite picture books and still have itchy feet, just outside is the Library at the Dock Playground a brand new, multi-level playground in eye-catching colours with surprising in-ground fountains, things to climb on and a mini fireman pole for quick exits all on rubber matting and a lush lawn alongside to sprawl on.

Slide down the fireman's pole

There's plenty to run, crawl and swing off. It reminds me of a crazy giant lego set with hidey holes and platforms to enjoy the space.

Up and down the steps we go!

It's nice to see some really interesting, new playgrounds in the city and it was great watching the kids having so much fun, interacting with the design and making up their own games.

For families in the Dockland apartments it must be a daily respite and for the rest of us weekenders it's a treat.
