If you always wanted to try the ancient martial arts of Tai Chi, then head over to the Library at The Dock in Docklands. The library has teamed up with YuLong Wushu to run a series of FREE classes. Practised in China since the 16th century, Tai Chi provides an easy way to keep fit and relieve stress. All classes are supervised by Professor Lily Sun, 7th Duan Associate Professor of Chinese Martial Arts at Wuhan University and co-founder of YuLong, Master Tara Brayshaw. Practices are conducted on The Deck and moved to the Terrace in case of rain. Classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
