When you are in Barcelona with a half Spanish friend, you will be sure to eat real, tasty Spanish food at a reasonable price. My story is that three of us were wandering around looking for a tapas restaurant. After a long search we found Lexi's.
The interior drew our attention, the beehive shape of the ceiling looked very original and trendy in the tones of orange and black. My friend Irene was inspired by the menu and she ordered excellent tapas.
If you are at Lexis try to order this array of dishes:
• Patatas Bravas: the dish consists of fried potatoes with a spicy sauce mixed with mayonnaise. It seems an easy recipe, but the secret is how the ingredients are cooked. During their preparation different cooking times and fire flames' intensity are required.
• Pulpo a la Gallega: my favorite. Cooking lovers will also find this recipe easy to make, just remember to serve the octopus on a potato layer and make sure to cut it in round slices.
• Pan de Cristal con Tomate: this is a typical Spanish version of bruschetta, thinner and without garlic and mozzarella.
• Revuelto: for lovers of mixed dishes, this one would be the perfect one to satisfy your palates. It is made with scrambled eggs, asparagus, garlic, shrimps and mushrooms. It is a big rich platter, so it is excellent to be shared within a group.
