Located in Kuala Lumpur's neighbouring state, Lexis Hibiscus is a beachside resort with a layout of Malaysia's national flower; a hibiscus. The rooms are available in two designs which are the water villas and the sky pool villa. The water villas are laid out along the flower while the sky pool villas are in the main building.
Both sky pool villas and water villas have their own private pools in each room but the water villas are more luxurious as they span out further into the ocean. During my visit there, I stayed in the premium water villa - located on the flower petals - with my mum and brother. We had originally planned to have our room at the leaf of the flower, but hotel reception had moved us up to the premium villas instead.

Premium Water Villa
Our water villa was facing Hibiscus Walk, which was a small hawker stall-like area for people who don't want to eat at the resort's buffet.
If you get the right room, you'll be able to see families playing at the beach and using the jet skis, floaties and boats.
The rest of the resort is mostly restaurants, beach activities and public pools. The breakfast buffet offered is not as luxurious as you'd expect since the food is quite bland, but there is a bistro that sits in the lobby and is quite nice. Upon arrival, we were given a voucher with free drinks offered at Coralz Bistro.
The desserts that are sold there are quite delicious and their coffee is also much better than what is offered at their buffet. The waiter there had recommended we tried the brownie cheesecake which - in my opinion - was very good as well as the opera cake.
Overall, the resort provides a wonderful experience when you just want a vacation away with your family. With all the activities that are offered for both the beach and land, it's a lovely getaway spot.
