Celebrating sustainable, regional food, the annual is on this Sunday. It's a great excuse to visit the Blue Mountains in its autumn finery, enjoy the local food and participate in a community event.

90 stalls in Leura Mall (the pretty, tree-lined shopping hub) will be offering seasonal foods and expertise on sustainability initiatives from producers, experts and stallholders within a 100-mile radius of the Blue Mountains. On offer you'll find wine, preserves, cold-climate plants, artisan soaps, clothing, jewellery, candles and more.

Events through the day include the Chook Show, Scarecrow competition, a jam making competition and chocolate cake competition.

The Speakers Program includes talks on designing your garden for bees and the slow living revolution. Learn about health-promoting urban design or the history of the Katoomba Brewing Company.

There'll also be a Kid's Corner on the verandah behind Leura Newsagency – with origami paper pot classes for kids – at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

Getting there: Leura Mall is located just off Leura rail station – less than a minutes walk! For those driving, take the M4 from Sydney and turn left into the village from the Great Western Highway. Leura is 100 km's from Sydney CBD.
