Do you sometimes meander through craft markets admiring the many wares available to buy, and think to yourself "Hey, I could make that?"
Sometimes artists and crafty folk share their talent with others by offering hands-on workshops to beginners. That's exactly the case with two artists that not only sell their gorgeous geometric animal brooches to the public at markets around Melbourne, but have put together a series of classes teaching others how to design and make their very own brooch to take home.
For those with a creative flair, 'Let's make something awesome' workshops will be starting on the evening of 16 October 2013 at Little Creature Dining Hall in Fitzroy between 6pm - 8pm. For $42 you'll get to take home two brooches, and the price also includes beer, wine or coffee. For those that are unable to make an evening workshop, the second class will be take place at the same venue, on the morning of 23 October, between 10am - 12pm. There are a further six workshops planned until Christmas, the perfect opportunity make a gift for the festive season.
