Catch the first single off their upcoming debut EP
LeSuits, an energetic nine-piece rock / funk / ska band from Brisbane. I've seen them play a number of times before, and written a review here, but wanted to share that they are releasing their first single Nipple from their upcoming debut EP, with a five-date, two-state east coast tour.

[ADVERT]Sydney - Friday 11 January
For the first gig of the tour, LeSuits will play at The Square, Hay Street Haymarket, Sydney. They will be supported by Sydney locals Ungus Ungus Ungus, a four piece who perform "progressive funk rock pop gypsy psychedelia", Rockethead, a three piece who call their music "melodic prog-fuelled riff-tastic adventures with heavy bluesy growls on nutritious rock n roll balladry with multi grain groove" and Moz Troniquz, who simply liken themselves to Beck. Doors at 8pm; $10 entry. More info here.

Newcastle - Saturday 12 January
You can catch LeSuits over at The Great Northern, Tiki bar in Newcastle. With support from Sydney four-piece hip hop / rock outfit The Phat Controller and Newcastle locals Flight to Dubai, a four piece who say their music "combines funk, punk and easy listening to create a sound not dissimilar to the lovechild of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sex Pistols." Doors at 8pm; $5 entry. More info here.

Wollongong - Sunday 13 January
Did someone say "Sunday Session"?
Backing up a huge weekend, LeSuits play a matinee show in Wollongong, at Yours and Owls in Crown St. Supported by Sydney locals Ungus Ungus Ungus, a four piece who perform "progressive funk rock pop gypsy psychedelia", five-piece Wollongong band Koranic, who call themselves a "dark blend of grungy jazz, warped latin and avante garde rock" and four-piece Wollongong band Curious Temple who refer to themselves as "rhythm & doom". Doors at 1pm; $10 entry. More info here.

Brisbane - Saturday 19 January
LeSuits will bring their thing to their hometown, performing at the zoo, supported by five-piece Gold Coast band De La Cruz, who call themselves "80's influenced, riff-powered arena rock" and Brisbane's own burlesque rock band Bertie Page Clinic who demonstrate that they are "rock'n'roll in a g-string". Doors at 8pm; tickets $12 pre-sale or $15 at the door. More info here.

Gold Coast - Thursday 24 January
Wrapping up the single launch tour, will be a performance at Surfers Paradise Beergarden, LeSuits will be supported by five-piece Gold Coast band De La Cruz, who call themselves "80's influenced, riff-powered arena rock", five-piece progressive / alt rock band Caligula's Horse and Rattlesnake. Doors at 8pm; $10 entry. More info here.

If you just can't wait until they play near you, LeSuit's single Nipple will be available on bandcamp from Friday 11 January.
