Lesmurdie Falls can be found within the Lesmurdie Falls National Park, closeby Kalamunda and the suburb of the same name.

The park is easy to find and parking availability is abundant. When you enter the park you will find an information board which displays the different walk trails throughout the park.

There are five trails in total, we walked the falls trail which leads you to a lookout above the falls, this was roughly a thirty-minute walk. The other trails are slightly longer than this one, with the longest been the Valley Loop trail which is roughly a two-hour journey.

Back at the entry of the park, there are toilets but there are no water facilities throughout the park so you will need to bring along your own water. The trails are also identified using coloured markers, you can read which colour matches which trail on the information board.

The falls trail is great and the scenery of the park, in general, is gorgeous. In the future, I hope to explore the bottom of the falls and I highly recommend that you give the trails a go too.
