Thursday 25th – Saturday 27th August: Memorial Hall, Leongatha.

The is blooming in August for its amazing 60th year. This Grand Dame is a treasured event on the Leongatha Horticultural Society's spring calendar, both for residents in the South Gippsland area and guests alike. Everyone is welcome to come marvel at what magnificent nature (and a handy green thumb) can produce.

The runs for three consequetive days commencing at 2pm on Thursday 25th August and closing on Saturday 27th August at 4pm.

The Show features Daffodils, Floral Art, Cut Flowers, Australian Plants, Camellias and Plant Stalls. There will also be refreshments available for purchase.

The special guest at this year's event is TV presenter and writer, Stephen Ryan. Mr Ryan will officially open the festival on Thursday 25th August 2016 at 3.30pm in the Memorial Hall in Leongatha.

Held in conjunction with the local township and sponsored by Milly & Romeo's Cooking School & Artisan Bakery, festival-goers are also welcome to wander through an array of open gardens (Open gardens will be featured on the Friday and Saturday only from 10m to 4pm), and enjoy plenty of other related activities throughout the Leongatha township and surrounds as part of this popular springtime exhibition.

Show hours are:
Thursday 25th August from 2pm to 5pm
Friday 26th August 9am to 5pm
Saturday 27th August 9am to 4pm

Admission to the is $5 per person, purchased at the event.

The Leongatha Memorial Hall is located on McCartin Street, Leongatha. There is surrounding street parking and the Memorial Hall is within walking distance of the Leongatha train station and the central shopping centre. Leongatha is located approximately 137km from the Melbourne CBD and approximately 107km from Dandenong along the M420 and Sth Gippsland Highway A440 out of Korumburra.
