Lemon Tree Passage is a little out of the way suburb about halfway between Newcastle and Nelson Bay. Take a left at the Lemon Tree Passage roundabout and follow the road right to the end.

When you get to the Lemon Tree Passage marina, you have found another of Port Stephens' little treasures.

The marina is a great place to cast a line for the avid fisherman. At the marina shop, you can get all your fishing needs from bait to fishing rods.

If you want to get on the water, you could hire a small runabout for a couple of hours or a whole day.

If you don't catch any fish to cook on the BBQs in the nearby park, you can always pick up a hamburger or chips from the marina takeaway.

If your family isn't into fishing, you could still enjoy swimming on the beach at the park, play on the playground equipment or enjoy a picnic in the park.

The local grocery store can ensure you have picnic supplies. Otherwise you could stop by at Coles at Tanilba Bay, just minutes away from Lemon Tree Passage.
