Children of all ages will adore the , where they engage in hands-on learning with familiar Lego toys.

Each weekend at the Lego shop, themed Sunday Funday sessions are run. The forty-five minute sessions centre around building, and welcome participants four years and up. Starting at 11am, 12pm and 1pm, Sunday Funday costs $5 per person. Unfortunately you can't dump your child there and abscond for an hour, as children need to be accompanied by an adult throughout the session. Bookings are not required, however it is advisable to call beforehand to check if a session is running if it is a long weekend. Sunday Funday does not run during the school holidays, however their dedicated holiday program will leave you with plenty of entertainment options.

Younger children will love the Buddy Builders- Make it Go workshops, which run in a series of five weekly sessions. Appropriate for children aged three and up, the Education Centre spruiks Buddy Builders as aiding your child's creative development and problem solving skills. Buddy Builders costs $15 for a parent and child for a single session, $60 for the entire five week course, or $190 for the five week course plus a building set to take home. Bookings are required for the Buddy Builders workshops, which take place on Friday mornings from 9:00 until 9:45am.

The also hosts children's parties , which go for about an hour and can be held on Saturdays only. Each party package costs $15 per person, with parties for groups of ten to 25 children. With exciting themes such as 'Journey into Space', 'Medieval Madness' and 'Lego Movie Making', there are parties suitable for children aged four and up.

Don't let kids have all the fun- corporate packages are available, so convince your boss to take you and your colleagues out to the Education Centre for a team-building workshop. Themes include 'Thinking outside the Brick' and 'Communicating through Play'.

Be aware that food is not permitted in either centre. While this spares you the horrible experience of picking up a lego brick only to discover sticky food remnants from last week; it also means you have to be prepared by planning to lunch either before or after your trip. If you're lucky enough to be having a party there, they won't serve cake but they will stick some candles into a Lego brick if you would like to sing Happy Birthday.
