Let's Go LEGO at Harbour Town

The winter school holidays are finally here, and mums across Melbourne know these are the tricky ones. Often too cold and wet to play outdoors, we need fun, interactive and, perhaps most importantly, low cost entertainment to keep the kids entertained. Harbour Town is bringing the perfect solution - and it doesn't come any cheaper than FREE. So it's time to get your build on at the Free LEGO City Play Zone.

Opening on Monday 3rd July, kids are welcome to put their creativity on high burn and make some really cool Lego creations out of the mass of Lego available at the Harbour Town LEGO City Play Zone. There will be organised activities such as the Height Challenge, which is where teams can pit their tower building skills against other teams to see who can build the highest tower in the allocated time. You can meet some pretty cool LEGO characters, such as the LEGO City Policeman, and go wild in the Free Build Zone creating anything and everything you like. Snap some pictures in the LEGO Jail and the LEGO Fire Station, play some really cool LEGO city iPad games and see the virtual LEGO brought to life. Be inspired by some of the LEGO models on display and take a sneak peak at some new brand LEGO sets only just released for sale.

The Harbour Town LEGO City Play Zone will be open every day from 12noon to 4pm from Monday 3rd July through to Sunday 16th July 2017, and entry is absolutely FREE.

Harbour Town offers plenty of family friendly entertainment. While you're in the area check out the shops, there's something for everyone with shoes and clothing to Manchester, toys, $2 shops and plenty more. Other attractions include the Melbourne Star take a ride and see the city from new heights - the O'Brien Group ice skating rink, which is a perfect fit for some winter holiday fun. There's also Dialogue in the Dark, ArtVo and plenty of places to eat.

Harbour Town is easily accessible either by car or public transport. Trams stop directly out front and there's parking on offer for $10 for up to six hours.

Harbour Town is located at 440 Docklands Drive, Docklands and is open for business seven days a week from 10am until 6pm. You can find out more about Harbour Town by visiting their website here.
