Say goodbye to a trawl through your local shopping mall to "umm and ahh" over which LEGOŽ set your child, friend, cousin, nephew, uncle, etc already has. With BrickPak, a subscription package for a "Mystery Box" of LEGOŽ will be delivered to your (or your loved one's) door with a simple click of a button.

Although the contents of each BrickPak remains a mystery until opened, you will find at least 6 items of fresh genuine LEGOŽ goods and paraphernalia, which may include things like; sets, Minifigures, apparel, toys, stationery and more.

A limited batch of BrickPak's are prepared each month, in which subscribers receive a surprise box of LEGOŽ loot within a given theme.

BrickPak, established in Australia for Australian LEGOŽ fans, has been in business since March 2015, with the contents of the first Pak now revealed online:

Contents:

PolyBag LEGO set - Police Quad Bike
Mr. Smith's Ice-Creamery Truckers Cap
Classic Green Spaceman Minifigure
BrickPak Parts Pak featuring flowers and street lamp post
Red Stress Brick
Mandarin or Lavender-scented soap
Pack of 4 brick erasers
Exclusive Ice-Creamery Stickers
Issue #1 of the BrickPak Bugle

The theme allocated to the current April 2015 BrickPak's is "wildlife", which my own little LEGOŽ fanatic received only this week.

I didn't tell my 6yr old son he would receive a LEGOŽ BrickPak in the mail, and to see his face when he opened his "Mystery Box" that quite obviously contained something of his favourite little bricks; priceless.

In BrickPak's April 2015 box, my son received:

A cool little Part Pak with a whole bunch of LEGOŽ critters

LEGOŽ Critters
LEGO Critters

LEGOŽ 59-piece Creator Fish to build; just like Nemo

LEGOŽ drink bottle which is perfect for school

LEGOŽ sticker set
Crocodile fridge magnet
An exclusive "en guarde" t-shirt featuring a minifig knight on his ferocious "steed" (a guinea pig)
A Minifigure farmer with green overalls and hat
Bunny bookmark
Issue #2 of the BrickPak Bugle pamphlet

To say my son enjoyed the BrickPak is an understatement, he has already asked when his next Pak will arrive and wonders what will be in it.

The surprise factor works so well for children because it isn't very often that kids actually receive anything in the mail, and when that package happens to contain LEGOŽ, it is like a birthday and Christmas all-in-one.

If you are thinking about a subscription for your loved one, you can choose a 1-month, 3-month or 6-month set, making BrickPak an ideal gift, depending on your budget.

Costs:

1 month subscription: $29.95 per month ( $7.95 postage)
3 month subscription: $27.95 per month ($83.85
$7.95 postage with for delivery)
6 month subscription: $25.95 per month ($155.70
$7.95 postage for each delivery)

Great idea, but the example one has too much non-brick content for my liking. They'll run out of that very quickly or you'll get the same stuff over and over.
