After spending six weeks with friends on a study abroad program in Spain, we returned to Canberra's wintry cold with little excitement.

However, one day completely by chance we discovered .



Situated in the charming inner-south district of Canberra known as Manuka, Legends the perfect spot to visit for a little taste of Europe. The menu offers a range of exquisite Spanish cuisine with a perfect choice for whatever size your party or how great your appetite.

Legends succeeds in providing something for everyone starting with a beautiful and varied selection of tapas. The menu consists of authentic carne dishes such as albonigas (Spanish meatballs in a carrot and tomato sauce), magnificent seafood including Mejillones (Mussels in piquant tomato sauce) and even provides a diverse and flavourful vegetarian range, most well known of which are the Patatas Bravas which are white potato wedges fried and served with a medium chilli mayo.

If you're more cautious and want to stick to the classic Spanish dishes you will be pleased to see five kinds of the traditional and delicious Spanish Paella (A subtly flavoured saffron rice dish originating from the region of Valencia)



Legends doesn't stop there - offering a banquet and platter menu for larger groups or functions and a mouthwatering array of customary Spanish desserts .



Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Legends has happy hour Monday through Saturday from 5pm-7pm, offering $5 red, white and sparkling wines and $10 cocktails. Legends is fully licensed and offers a range of Spanish wines and even Spanish liqueur.
