The Legends in Concert, Tribute to the Stars Las Vegas show is returning to Melbourne's Crown Casino in January 2018, bigger and better than before. Following a successful first run in Melbourne this year, the line-up for their return is huge, and this is as close as you might ever come to seeing the real deal. From Elvis to Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston to Freddie Mercury, don't miss this rare and wonderful opportunity to see some of the world's best known and most loved performers stepping out live, together, on stage together.
In true Las Vegas style, The Palms at Crown Casino is the perfect venue for one of the most highly regarded tribute shows currently touring the world. From elevated booth seating to tables to chairs along the front of the stage, you can choose the experience you would enjoy most, but rest assured there are no bad seats, not in this house.
The audience is treated to a live video stream of the performer on stage interspersed with recorded footage of the original performer being shown in music videos and in photographs, enabling them to appreciate the lengths and breadths these performers go replicating the star they are impersonating. All performances are sung live and the mannerisms, as well as the voice and the costumes, are as similar to the real thing as you can get. It's simply jaw dropping.
The stars promising to come to Melbourne in January 2018 include Tom Jones, Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Cher, Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton. Performing for a strictly limited, two-week season, you would be well advised to book your tickets as early as possible. Having been to the original show, I was quite literally blown away by the quality and calibre of this show, not to mention the sight of the 'legends' standing live on stage together at the end. It truly is something you would never expect to see. It's amazing.
I challenge you to say motionless in your seat throughout this show. A feel good experience, you really will want to be up on your feet dancing. The vibe is electric with a band performing live on-stage, along with backing singers and dancers to really bring the show to life.

Steve McCoy, playing Tom Jones in the Legends in Concert Show, has been impersonating his idol since he was five years old. Having won a celebrity sound-a-like competition, McCoy's career was launched - and his story closely resembles many of the other performers in this show.
