Taking the place of
The Bunker Sports Bar and Grill, Legends Bar is a good place in the Adelaide CBD to enjoy a decent range of pub-style food. For those that like to enjoy drinks with their meals, Friday is a good day to do so as all their drinks are offered at happy hour prices for the entire day.
The Southern fried chicken in their Chicken Burger was succulent with the flesh set off beautifully by the crisp coating. Chipotle sauce gave the burger its delectable smoky taste with a hint of spice, and the bacon and salad complemented the chicken nicely. Served on the side were fluffy chips seasoned with a salt mix that made them taste quite moreish.

Their Club Sandwich was of a generous size and can be shared with a friend if you desire. The bread was toasted to the appropriate degree and there was sufficient turkey and bacon to make eating the sandwich a satisfying experience. Avocado served as a good partner to the turkey and the cranberry sauce imparted a slight sweet taste to the dish. Like their Chicken Burger, the Club Sandwich came with a serving of chips.

Their Coconut Chicken Salad had a generous amount of chicken, which was where the coconut flavour of the dish came from. Carrot and apple provided a change of texture from the salad greens but we thought it would be tastier if more Thai dressing was used to dress the salad. Nuts and seeds added a crunchy element and a lime wedge was provided to add some tanginess to the dish.

The Wedges were a joy to eat with fluffy interiors set off by crisp exteriors. They were also seasoned with enough salt to lift their flavour without being too saltish. Accompanying the wedges was a mixture of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce to dip the wedges in.

The decor of the restaurant gave it a bit of a rustic feel. Screens running sport events were scattered around the place. Various deals are offered on certain days, such as $12 Pizza Fridays and Chicken Wings for 50 cents each on Wednesdays.
