Kidding! Everybody knows that it takes at least five times the amount of, say, 'average intellect' peoples. Or was it six ... I'm confused. Either way, you know the job's going to get done. And get done perf... / hilariously.

Bling Productions - thank you - for bringing the wonderful - important (for so many different reasons) Legally Blonde Jr the Musical based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture - to the Lake Macquarie Performing Arts Centre on the 7th and 8th November.

Limo? No. Entourage? No. Feather boa draped opulently about his tiny little neck? Nope. He just trotted on through the main entrance with the rest of us happy buzz of theatregoers on a gorgeous drizzly Warners Bay evening. Quietly self-assured (evidence of great / dedicated preparation?), as cute as they come, an air of brilliance, and - along with his fellow cast members / theatre family - about to wow us with one sure fabulous show! (Straight backstage first, let's get that leash off).

From the minute we got comfy in our seats we were inundated with an invigorating drenching of shimmering, well executed 'make you feel good' song and dance routines. Complete with gorgeous costumes, props and absolutely bring the house down, very profound one-liners. From protagonist Elle Woods': "what, like it's hard" nonchalant retort in reference to law school, to the man-in-a-position-of-power: "well, I didn't think you were 'that' stupid" reply to Elle Woods' rebuffing of his inappropriate conduct, to the softer chimed line, which I'm sure we would all like to hear children singing: "because being true to yourself never goes out of style" - hear, hear! Stereotypes were smashed, hierarchies refreshingly reconfigured, perfectly beautiful unique performers, did, evidently, what they were born, and likely supportively encouraged to do (there was an Irish jig in there quite possibly deserving of an Oscar) and an audience, I'm pretty sure, left feeling both satisfied, and that (for the duration of the show) all was right with the world. Stellar performance 'you guys'! Very well deserving of the resounding roar of applause you so justifiably received.

Manicure, tick. Hair appointment, tick. Puppy's paw massage, tick. Solve very significant crime with maximum style and dizzying ease. Tickety tick tick.Jury's in.. dreams are there for the chasing, just be sure to do it.. your own wonderful way.
