In WW1, a digger asked his mate in the trenches to look after the Mrs if anything happened to him. Legacy has built on this promise. Legacy is a group of caring individuals who support the spouse and kids of service men and women who die or become incapacitated.

Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering financially and socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent. They support approximately 90,000 widows and 1,900 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.
Legacy services are vast. They care for families, providing safety and security, relieving financial and educational hardship, advocating for pensions, combating isolation and providing respite. They particularly provide for and support children.

The brand new $20 Badge features the camouflage colours for the Australian Army. This acknowledges the services of the Defence personnel from Iraq, East Timor and Afghanistan.
