Queen's Feast is a 5 course menu featuring special desserts
Queen was one of my favourite bands and I believe Freddie Mercury to have been one of the all-time greats.
Freddie Mercury had such a depth and sang with a passion which is hard to rival. It is with this in mind that I attend many of the events that are put on in memory of him and his band. Freddie Mercury somehow had a presence on stage which captivated the audience.
Although of course, it is nothing like the "real thing", it is such a pleasure to hear his songs performed by several different singers. I have written another article on one of these Queen concerts that I attended and you can read all about it here.
On Friday 1st June, 2018 there will be a Queen's Feast. This is something a bit different in that everything will be decked out in all things Queen. This is to pay tribute to the "greatest band that has ever lived!"
These will be a "We Are the Champions" hotcake which is a date hotcake with spiced apples, pistachio crumble, butterscotch sauce and finished off with collab gelato from N2.
N2 is an extreme gelato bar in Dixon Street, Sydney. At N2, they are constantly reinventing the traditional gelato. They bring in flavours that are creatively decadent and indulgent!
The second dessert is a "Stone Cold Crazy" parfait. This is a layer of vanilla pannacotta and shortbread pecan crumble. This is then topped with freshly stewed apples with another layer of shortbread pecan crumble.
And there's more - added again to this is a scoop of classic vanilla gelato, whipped cream, and topped with shortbread pecan crumble.
