Learn how to make your own unique accessories from leather
Do you remember the days when plaited leather belts was the essence of 'cool' and hand-tooled bags were a staple of every woman's wardrobe? Those days are here again but leatherwork has come a long way since the days of tan and brown only.
With gold, blue and many other hues to choose from, the leatherworking craft has never been more popular and it's so easy to make your own beautiful purses, bags and accessories with just a little bit of instruction.
Anita from myclectic will guide you through all the steps to make a fun and bright leather tassel purse in this hands on workshop.
Hosted by Annerley Community Hub, part of your ticket price goes towards ensuring that this great service remains as the vital part of the community that it is. They support all members of society but especially the most vulnerable through services, conversation and events which allow to take part.
If you have always wanted to learn more about leatherwork, this is your opportunity to make yourself something unique that will last you a lifetime.
I just read your article on Five Quirky Cherubs and must tell you that she has gone from her Mitchelton perch. The last two times I have been to the Mitchelton markets I have noticed with disappointment that her shop is closed.
I loved the shop and the lady in it, but she is no longer there.
By the way, I enjoy your articles very much.
