A set of six Beginner Bridge lessons are starting soon at Bayswater Bridge Club on Monday 13 September, 12.30 to 3.00pm.

Cards At the Beginner Lessons you will learn how to bid this hand
At the Beginner Lessons you will learn how to bid this hand

Sandy, a friendly Australian Bridge Federation teacher, will introduce all aspects of the game including bidding, play and defence. No prior knowledge of bridge or any other card games is needed. Sandy will start you on a life-long journey where you will learn bridge at your own pace and make many treasured friendships along the way. The main ethos promoted at the lessons is respect and enjoyment.

Sandy will also teach students how to play bridge online with their friends.

The venue for the lessons will be the ground floor of the beautiful Bayswater Tennis Club, situated at the corner of Garratt Road and Murray Street, Bayswater. There is plenty of free parking available.

Bridge is a partnership game, great for social interaction and developing logic and it is believed to maintain brain health.

The cost of each lesson is $10 payable to the Bayswater Bridge Club each session.

To book in, or for more information on these lessons, or for times of Refresher or Advancer courses, please email Sandy at sandy.7notrumps@gmail.com.
