UnchARTed Collective is hosting an exciting 'Learn to Paint Abstracts in an Afternoon' workshop on Saturday 29th August 2015.
This interactive workshop will run from 1pm to 4pm at the Mt Lawley Studio.
Artists Vicki Baker and Sioux Tempest will guide participants through this 3-hour workshop, exploring the principles and techniques required to create stunning works of art.
Ideal for all ages and all skill levels, this interactive workshop is designed to unlock one's natural artistic talent.
Participants will create three works during the workshop and importantly won't copy or imitate the greats, instead each participant will be encouraged to experiment with different techniques and develop their own unique style.

The workshop will be held in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere and all required materials will be provided, including boards, acrylic paints, brushes and high quality canvas.
Participants should bring along their own pencil/pen and notebook/sketchbook.
Coffee and cake will be served as part of the experience.
The class will be limited to a small number of participants and early bookings are advised.

Vicki has six years of art education resulting in a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Metal Work from The London Institute of Art and Design. She is self taught in watercolour, acrylics and pencil mediums creating both stunningly details fine art works and abstracts. Vicki has exhibited internationally and in Perth.
Sioux is a two-time Black Swan Heritage Prize Finalist and the founder of UnchARTed Collective. Sioux is a qualified graphic designer and self taught painter who explores abstract, modern contemporary, urban and digital art styles. She has been involved in numerous group shows and held two solo art exhibitions. Her work is held in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
