Perth Tango Club, a social and non-profit club, invites you to learn the art of the Argentine Tango this Winter by participating in one of their upcoming 8-week beginners courses.Held at Lesser Hall, 82 Cambridge St West Leederville, the Beginners 1 course is ideal for those with no or little experience. You are welcome to participate in this course on your own, with a dance partner or with friends. The Beginners 2 course is a follow-up course for those who completed Beginners 1.These courses are facilitated by friendly instructors, who will guide you through the tango step by step. The classes are held in an encouraging and social atmosphere making it a great way to try something new and meet new like-minded people. It's a great way to keep fit and have fun! Both courses are held on Thursday evening: Beginners 1 from 7:30 to 8:30pm and Beginners 2 from 8:45 to 9:45pm.At the end of each course is a milonga, or social dance, for Beginners 1 & 2 participants. All past participants in the Thursday course are invited to come as well, to welcome new members into the Club. There are also regular monthly social events, which Beginners 1 & 2 participants can attend whilst completing the courses. It costs $60 to participate in a course and there is a $20 annual membership fee. You have nothing to lose - grab your partner, friends and family and join the Perth Tango Club.
