Catch some of the artists at this huge festival
This Leaps and Bounds Music Festival is also known as the Sounds of Winter and will be on from 13th to 22nd July, 2018. This will be the sixth year Leaps and Bounds has been on and it includes artists performing one-off gigs and collaborations in music venues from Fitzroy to Northcote.

Local talent is very evident at the City of Yarra's ten-day annual music festival. Here, the local artists perform their stuff in music venues, bookshops and street corners throughout the inner north, and across the City of Yarra.

At this festival, they nurture the next generation of musicians and celebrate the unique Australian music that the locals perform. There are gigs to suit all types of music fans from electronic to hip-hop, and jazz to rock, and for all age groups and budgets, including many free gigs.

The festival is commissioned by the Yarra City Council. The festival initially began as a way to support local music venues, musicians and businesses, during the quieter months of winter. Since then, it has turned into a thriving festival that demonstrates heaps of talent.
