Le Jardin Bistro

Published August 22nd 2012
The Sunshine Coast is well known for it's cafe's and coffee joints. With Mooloolaba Esplanade boasting great views, it's no wonder places like Starbucks and Gloria Jeans are often brimming with happy customers.

So when I ended up in a little cafe away from the esplanade, I was sceptical. Whilst there were a few customers inside it wasn't packed out, so naturally I had my doubts.

Well what can I say? This little cafe is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. When you first walk in, it takes a few minutes just to take in the fantastic artworks on the walls. Outside there is a garden sitting area.

Already I was hooked and then I ordered an orange juice and a Tirusmu slice. Well I was in heaven. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, not like most places that gives it out of a bottle, and the tirusmu was served up so beautifully that I'm sure they would have won Masterchef for presentation. The food itself was divine. I had to stop myself from going back for seconds.

So next time you are looking for somewhere a bit different then why not check out the the Le Jardin Bistro on the Sunshine Coast.

They provide great service and great food at great prices.
