, situated right inside fashionable, chic and the ever so popular Palazzo Versace lies a golden opportunity to sit, relax and enjoy some quality time with tasteful marble floors, and Versace designed furniture. This is simple luxury, and you might be surprised. Whether you are a guest at this hotel or not, it is great to hang out at 'the bar.' Not just any bar. A bar where you can unwind, either alone or with others.



You don't need to even go as far as the high tea extravaganza, unless you really want to. Your chance to only expect tasteful, quality service at the .



First off, the cafe latte under promised and over delivered, especially due to the sheer size in a phantom Versace patterned coffee cup. For only $7, a quality arabica coffee brew is given, with simple attention to detail. Furthermore, a little pistachio treat proved to be the so called midas touch to something with purity. Just one spoon of sugar is all you need. Looking around, for something to eat the scones were popular.



Otherwise the wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce ($9) made way for a leisurely afternoon snack with the coffee, or rather a late lunch. They took a bit of time to cook, yet it was worth the wait. A generous service was enjoyed, especially with a massive separate bowl of sour cream immersed with the sweet chilli component of this dish circled around the edges. There was some leftover cream. Usually you kind of complain of not having enough sauce, yet the (pleasant) complaint (or rather observation) was that there was too much of it. No tiny plastic sauce tubs here. This was a cracker of an afternoon treat. Definitely a favourable bar.





Remember to ask for a glass of water, and that is complimentary, you will need it. Highly recommended, and a full marks establishment. So chic, so top notch.
