I've made it to my life's goal - the old age pension. Now I write for fun. Hope you enjoy reading.
Event: -
Volunteer for a great time It’s sure to be fantastique

Le Festival is a not-for-profit association that organises an annual Festival to demonstrate the diverse range of music, food, education and lifestyle "ΰ la Francaise" and, in doing so, helps strengthen French-Australian cultural and business relationships.

To make the event as successful as it has been since first appearing in 2010 (then known as the Brisbane French Festival), Le Festival relies on the hard work and enthusiasm of its volunteers. Simply put, Le Festival cannot operate without the goodwill and support of over 300 volunteers who help out every year.

Here is your opportunity to join in on all the fun and excitement bound to happen as the volunteers go about their mission to ensure the continued success of Le Festival.

You'll be able to spread your passions such as photography, arts, culture, food, entertainment, children's activities, wine and champagne with everybody as well as enjoy the pleasures of being in France without the arduous trip. Don't miss this opportunity it only comes around once a year.

If you've had the pleasure of being a Le Festival volunteer before then here's a very warm welcome back to you, and merci!

Being a volunteer is not all about you doing the giving. Every volunteer receives:
Le Festival's Volunteer T-Shirt – There are now true collectables;
FREE entry to the largest and most exciting French festival in Australia;
A meal voucher for a gourmet French Baguette sandwich with cheese;
A lot of recognition from all of us; and
A French Kiss! ... Okay, maybe just a hug then...

NB: You don't have to speak French to be a volunteer!

Please note when registering, you must be 18 years or over to volunteer and the system will only accept one volunteer per email address.

So what do you think about having a great time, meeting new people and enjoying something different to your usual pursuits? If you are interested in experiencing any, or, better still, all of these prospects while making a difference to the enjoyment of many, many people then click here to register your interest as a volunteer at Le Festival.

For 2019 Le Festival will be in its usual place on the Cultural Forecourt (in front of QPAC's Lyric Theatre) at the following times:
Friday 5 July - 5pm to 10pm;
Saturday 6 July - 9am to 11pm; and
Sunday 7 July - 9am to 6pm.

Your Comment
I'm a Francophile and will attend but alas I don't have time to volunteer (this year). I have forwarded your article to a few friends.
