Looking for something for your children to do?
On March 11th at 10am the LCF club began their Perth Launch at the Language Centre Bookshop in Leederville. It was here that I met Audrey Brink and Sarah Davies who are the head franchisees of the LCF Fun Languages in Perth. In chatting with them I discovered that they were mothers themselves with a love of teaching languages to children. This definitely came across during their mini class with guest teacher, owner/director, who came over to Perth for this special launch.
The Fun Languages Launch was Held in Leederville at The Language Centre Bookshop.
It was an absolute pleasure to watch children, aged 2-4, enjoying learning French. With songs, games and playful interactions the children were learning, within minutes, how to speak French with smiles on their faces. All eyes were on Nickie as she spoke to the children with such an energy - it was hard not to join in on the fun as well.
After the event I had another chance to speak with Audrey and Sarah. They told me of what they are looking to accomplish in Perth, which is to provide a fun and safe group environment for young children to learn a second language. They hold pre-scheduled group sessions at multiple locations North and South of the River during the school terms (including holiday programs). However you can organise a group at a location of your choice by getting together 6-10 children aged 2-12 years, and the girls will happily cater (within reason of course).
If French is not your thing then not a problem, they also offer other languages such as Mandarin, German, Italian, Spanish and English. They also offer a Free Trial, so you can feel comfortable in knowing if this is the right choice for you and your child/children. And to be honest, with the smiles and looks of engagement from the children from the launch, I would find it hard to believe they would not be interested or have a good time.
So if you are looking for something for your child to do. Maybe learn something new. Then do go online and have a look at what the LCF Fun Languages have to offer. And do take advantage of their free trial. What do you have to lose?
