This American/Asian fusion restaurant is fast becoming my favourite place to eat in Canberra. This love affair started a new months ago when I was looking for a place to take my visiting sister for dinner. After asking around the office, this place was recommended to me. it sounded cool so I decided to give it a go.
So that Saturday off to try out the restaurant I had heard so much about! The place was busy when we arrived so they asked if minded sitting at the bar, which we didn't as it gave it the chance to watch the bartenders whip up the cocktails. I couldn't resist the ordering the sake cocktail, which was amazing!
With drinks sorted, we turned our attention to the menu and with much consideration, we settled on the banquet! We started the dinner with edamame beans, which I had never tried but was a fast converter. Then we moved on to a number of entrees including the Wagyu Cheesesteak Spring Roll, Korean Fried Buffalo Wings and Dumplings! Although, I'll admit the Spring Roll was by far my favourite of them all.
After the entrees, the food kept coming. There was a selection of cut fish including tuna and salmon. Until this point, I hadn't really enjoyed Sashimi, but I really enjoyed the Sashimi at Lazy Su. We were then treated to some delicious Duck Pancakes with kimchi, cucumber and other vegetables. We were getting full by this point but the food was still coming!
Our last item of the evening was the delicious Fried Chicken Ramen, and I'm glad it was the last as it was my favourite! The broth was deliciously spicy, the chicken was crunchy and the texture of the egg was an added bonus.
