Organ transplant research may not be the sexiest subject around - unless of course you need a transplant! The Margaret Pratt Foundation , whose charitable arm, the Margaret Pratt Foundation Heart Lung Transplant Trust furthers research into chronic lung rejection, is holding a fundraising event. The charity's mission is to increase the long term survival of lung transplant recipients.

Taking a lighter approach to such a serious subject, the event will involve a night of comedy on Saturday 15th October. Entertainment on the night will be provided by a great line-up including the talented Celia Pacquola (award winning stand up comedian, and as seen on Have you Been Paying Attention, Talking 'bout Your Generation and Offspring), and Lehmo (breakfast radio host on Gold 104.3, and as seen on Have you Been Paying Attention? and Before the Game). Mick Dwyer, veteran of the Edinburgh Festival and as seen on SAS Who Dares Wins rounds out the lineup.

The venue for this event is the Melba Speigeltent, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood. The show starts at 7pm. There will be food trucks on site, with food and bar sales available from 6pm.

Tickets are $45. Click here to book your tickets online. Come along and support a great cause.
