Laugh out loud in the park
Sunday, May 4th is World Laughter Day and laughter yoga enthusiasts and those willing to give it a go are being encouraged to gather at the Rotunda in New Farm Park from 11am until 1pm. The plan is to laugh out loud and have some fun whilst raising money to help the Leukaemia Foundation in their work against this deadly serious disease. After the laughter yoga session there'll be face painting for the kids and everyone is invited to bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy in this beautiful Brisbane park.
What is laughter yoga? This practice combines the breathing and stretching principles of yoga with playful actions and laughter, releasing the body's natural feel-good serotonin. In short, you get to give the body a gentle workout, have fun, meet new people, laugh out loud and get happy! Why not get along to New Farm Park with family and/or friends on May 4th and be a part of this Happydemic!
Donations to participate are: $10 a single, $15 for a family group and kids under 13 are free.
