Located along Henley Beach Road in Torrensville,
Latte Studio offers a good range of cafe-style dishes, some of which have Korean influences. Specials are available for those who desire some variety.
Rather than eggs, the Chilli Tofu Scramble featured smashed tofu as the main ingredient. The smashed tofu had a texture similar to scrambled eggs. The degree of spiciness of the chilli is suitable for most tastes, and fried mushrooms add extra flavour and texture. Salted black beans added a hint of saltiness and the brioche bread was not over toasted.

The pork mince mixture in the Angry Burger was juicy, and the sauce had a nice spicy punch to it. Halloumi acted as a foil to the spiciness, and the fried egg was cooked just right. Completing the burger were lettuce, tomato and pickled cucumber. Those who are feeling brave can have super spicy sauce for an additional cost.

Compared to normal waffles, their Croffle had a firmer texture while still retaining some lightness. The berry compote did not taste too sweet and the selection of seasonal fruits added texture. Accompanying the dish was house-made espresso syrup that had the hint of coffee flavour that you would expect.

The slice of Matcha French Toast was quite large, and light and fluffy. The matcha that was included in the bread gave it its green colour and a slightly bitter flavour. Flaked almonds provided a change of texture from the seasonal fruits, and the scoop of ice cream was of a good size. Included in the dish was the same berry compote used in their Croffle. Maple syrup was served on the side for those who want to add more sweetness.

In addition to their menu offerings, the cafe offers a selection of pastries sourced from
Abbots and Kinney . The pastries that we enjoyed during our visits were Raspberry Choc Almond Croissant and Almond Croissant. If they desire, customers can request for their pastries to be heated.

The cafe was fairly small in size and the decor gave it a rustic feel. If you are looking for a place offering cafe food that is a bit different in Torrensville, consider giving Latte Studio a visit.
