In their own words, Latitude is Melbourne's newest 'Freedom Centre', a place where you can defy gravity, no matter your age.

The centre is the first integrated indoor trampoline and climbing park in Australia, and it's massive. Apart from the over 100 interconnected trampolines, Latitude is comprised of 8 separate activity areas:

Performance, Air Bag & Free Jump Trampolines

Trampoline Arena - Literally bounce off the walls in the Free Jump area or fly off a raised platform onto a giant air bag or extra bouncy trampolines. You can even watch yourself defy gravity on Performance Trampolines thanks to slow-motion cameras.

Rock Climbing Walls - On this epic circuit you can race your friends to the top or fly solo and release your inner spider man with the aid of an auto-belay system.

Thanks to the affixed auto-belay system soft landings are guaranteed in the climb zone.

Down Rush - Those seeking an adrenaline rush can bounce off a 9m bungee tower and use the Swoop Device (Latitude's take on the flying fox) to fly through the air.

The Battle Beam is a great way to release stress.

Slack Line & Battle Beam - Test your gladiator abilities on the battle beam and your balancing skills on the slack line over fully padded foam pits.

Dodgeball Court - Forget the 5 D's of Dodgeball and bounce out of the way instead.
Made up of two teams of four - the Dodgeball court is great fun for a family tournament or a group of friends who love their sport.

Kids Zone - Complete with foam and ball pits, this adventure playground is designed with under-5s in mind. The supersized and super-soft Kids Zone is fully supervised and includes a parents' change room, spectator seating and a designated pram parking area.

The Kids Zone is open all day everyday

Obstacle Course - 6 sections of climbing, tightrope walking and swing obstacles will take you high up over half the centre - no need to be scared of falling as you're completely strapped in the whole time.

Basketball Bounce Lanes - Anyone who never managed to meet the height requirement for pro-ball will especially appreciate this one. The court features runway trampolines leading up to full-height rings so you finally get that chance to dunk like Kobe Bryant.

Did I mention the cafe? Once you're out for the count you can take a breather, chillax and maybe pass out a little at Latitude's BaseCamp Cafe. In-house chef Milo and his staff serve up gourmet hot dogs, healthy salads and sandwiches, sweet cakes and coffee brewed by qualified baristas. There's even a Slurpee machine for those in need of a quick energy boost.

But that's not all! I know, right? How could there be more? Fitatude - that's how.

Fitatude is a 45-minute workout program designed by Latitude's own specialised team of personal trainers. It's great for weight loss, low-impact cardio fitness and muscle toning - if you've ever spent more than 10 minutes on your kids' trampoline then you know just how effective a bounce-workout can be.

Class runs Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:00pm & 7pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:00am & 11:00am. A single session booking is $16 with multiple session bookings available at discounted prices.

Trampolining and climbing are proven ways to get happy. But did you know it's also a fun way to get fit and strong? In fact, there's no better activity to train spatial awareness a critical skill in all sports. The inherent fun of jumping on a trampoline disguises the amount of energy being expended. And unlike other children's activities, when kids jump on a tramp, they eagerly sustain an activity level that leads to genuine fitness with low impact to the body. Book onlin bit.ly/1CWvw3P

That looks amazing. There is so much more available than when I was young (it was a while ago).
