Yesterday, I spent the day with my friend Sally and after a little shopping, decided to have some lunch. We turned up at Latitude 32 at around 12.30pm, peak time for lunch I know, and without a booking.

We were greeted by a lady who I think might be the Manager. She was very accommodating to us, even though the restaurant was filling up fast. Our water came out to us within a minute and chilled, which was great on a hot day.

We were not left alone long and our order was taken for our food and drinks. We ordered the baked Camembert for entree, which we shared.

The service from the start to finish of this experience was a delight, and I have to say some of the most pleasant wait staff I have met, and they just did not stop looking around at their patrons, to ensure that we were all being taken care of.

I also asked the waitress to delay our main course for another 20 minutes and was pleasantly surprised when our main meal came out dead on time. I made note of that, as to me, it shows an efficiently run kitchen too.

The fish and chips was delicious. The fish was thick and tasty and the chips were crunchy. What can I say about sitting under the shade of an umbrella, eating fish and chips, looking out over the ocean and the many little boats floating on their moorings?

We spent over 2 hours there, soaking up the atmosphere, and it was well worth it.
