With only five days to go until Christmas Day, your Christmas present buying is all organised and under control, right? Well, if you're like me and loads of other people you're still running around trying to find gifts for people who are impossible to buy for or who have everything anyway and you have no idea what to buy.
So here are a few last minute gift ideas.
A gift card; There are plenty of gift card options to buy. You can get one from pretty much any store or shopping centre. Just choose a festive card design, choose an amount, get the card loaded up and you're done. This way the recipient can buy whatever they like, whenever they like.
Gift Pack; Most stores have ready made up gift packs for men and women, in a range of prices.
Gift Basket; Get creative and make up your own gift basket. Buy a basket in a size of your choice. Then just fill it with items you think the recipient will like. Choose different foodstuffs and chocolates or toiletries and perfumes. Use your imagination, mix and match or go with a theme. The choice is endless and you get to control the amount you spend. Then just wrap it all up in cellophane, add a bow and some ribbon and your good to go.
Home baked goodies; Make some yummy homemade Christmas cookies, cupcakes, white Christmas or rocky road. Wrap them in cellophane or put them in a festive tin or box.
Magazine Subscription. Take out a subscription to the recipient's favourite magazine. There are loads to choose from such as Women's Weekly, New Idea, Top Gear Magazine and a range of subscription lengths too.
Framed Photo; Choose a nice photo that you think the recipient will like such as one of the family or grandchildren. Get it printed in the size you require and put it in a nice frame. Or get one of those frames with multiple spaces with more pictures. Another good idea is to get a photo album and fill it with photos, maybe from the last year or from a particular special occasion.
Flowers or Plants; A nice bunch of flowers or a plant is always a hit. These are available from pretty much everywhere and there is a wide variety available at a range of prices to suit everyone.
Coffee Lovers; If the recipient is a coffee drinker buy them a cup or travel mug and their favourite coffee, or some different coffees, and some biscuits or chocolates and make up a coffee lovers pack. This can also be done with tea drinkers - get them a novelty tea pot, cup and saucer, their favourite tea or different types of tea, or even hot chocolate drinkers.
Stationery; Some people just love stationery so this is the gift for them. There are some nice specialty stationery stores around now so pop into one of them and choose a lovely gift. Make up a stationery pack – buy some pens, pretty paper, envelopes and stamps.
These are only a few last minute gift ideas. There are plenty more just use your imagination - I'm sure you can think of loads more, so if you do please let us all know what they are.
