Last Mime Standing is a unique one man mime show written and performed by celebrated actor, mime artist and physical comedian Rod Lara.

Presented by 'Rod Lara Entertainment', it is playing at Gasworks Arts Park for a strictly limited season this September as part of the Melbourne Fringe.

Last Mime Standing sees a disgruntled mime forced to live inside an underground shelter due to a global apocalyptic catastrophe.

How much can he cope? Are these signs of the times or end of the world? Is he the Last Mime Standing?

Directed by Brett Danalake and featuring original music composed by mbryo, Last Mime Standing is the culmination of Rod's personal 15 year journey as a silent performer.

Absolutely everyone can take something different from this show; the plot is not typical physical comedy or typical mime, rather it is a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone can engage with and enjoy. It is all-inclusive and also suitable for the deaf.

Tickets are now on sale through the Melbourne Fringe website; prices are as follows:

Full Price: $28.00

Concession: $24.00
