As you cross Logan River, going south and just before you get to Fitzy's Waterford, turn left into a rather nice park and picnic area. Judging by the cars there, I suspect it is a rest stop/lunch break for drivers.
In the playground is a large geometric climbing contraption unlike any I've seen before. It looks like it might be similar to those climbing walls. The play equipment is limited but it is shaded by sails. There are no barbecues so take a ready to eat picnic.
Just down the hill is the Logan River with plenty of space to park a car and a boat trailer near the boat ramp. It is a great spot for some fishing. There were people throwing in a line while I was there.
