There's nothing like a new park to explore and for the kids to run wild in. Larry Bolitho Reserve only opened in March 2015 so it still has that new car smell!

It is a fully enclosed park with some great new equipment for kids of all ages. There are three swings – one for the big kids (and the parents), one for the small kids, and a birds nest swing for all ages to jump on.

The play equipment is huge with lots of different activities for kids, including slides, a rope ladder, rope tunnel and a sliding pole. It also has a shade cover so it is great for hot summer days.


There is a path which is great for riding scooters, bikes and roller skates. And with the play area layed with synthetic grass, you don't need to worry about the kids hurting themselves.


To top it off, there is a large grassy area for kids to run around on and some beautiful sandstone stepping stones. There is also a bubbler (water fountain) and a bin to dispose of any rubbish.


The only downside is that there is no toilet, but with shops just a short walk away you are sure to find one in case of emergency.
