I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

A warm welcoming space lies behind the plain exterior, there is a VIP gaming room off to one side of the foyer and a central bar which has a great range of beverages and is manned by smiling friendly staff. The bistro is open from midday everyday and serves up lunches, snacks, coffee, cakes, dinner and desserts until late. Woodfired pizzas are available from 5.30pm with a $15 special on Monday nights.

The servings of food are generous and tasty and there is plenty of variety on the
menu. Children are well catered for with a $10 kids menu which includes a pop top drink and ice cream. There is plenty of seating indoors and out, if you dine outside you will be given a buzzer to collect your meal but there's table service for indoor diners.

During the week there are food specials as well as entertainment such as Trivia Nights, live music and tipping competitions. The Lapstone Hotel is available for
function catering and parking is plentiful at the front and at the rear of the building.
