Adelaide-girl relocated to Melbourne. Healthy obsession with live music, film and performance, whiskey, wine and gin, Mexican food, brunch.
Lovers of Lanie Lane (that's pronounced Lannie, btw) will be pleased to know they can see this rockabilly retro cowgirl soon.

An 'absolutely delighted' Lane announced her Bangity Bang national tour will kick off in Adelaide on 11 May, with a gig at The Gov.

A former JJJ unearthed artist, Lane has a voice not often heard away from your grandparents' gramaphone.

Whether you call her sultry, cool or gritty, there's no denying that Lane has that special something which seduces and enthrals.

Her album To the Horses is a mix of rock 'n' roll, blues and rockabilly, and it debuted at #12 on the ARIA chart. Lane has recorded with Jack White, toured the UK and US and has had previous sell-out tours in Australia.

The Rubens, who placed #57 in the 2011 JJJ Hottest 100, will be her support and tickets are a mere $23.30 inc. booking fee.

This is an unmissable event.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 16 February at 9am.
