Holdfast Bay Community Centre is excited to announce the launch of language programs for speakers of all levels, whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner. This program will be held at Linguabrew Cafe, Holdfast Bay Community Centre, 51 King George Avenue, Hove.

Come and join a fun and relaxing evening filled with laughter and language learning, where you can enhance your chosen language conversational skills with other like-minded individuals and will be incorporated with some cultural activities, such as games, movie nights, and even delicious treats.

Attendance for this event is free but will be greatly appreciated for gold coin donations. Please find below for first meeting schedule for each language program. During this first meeting, it will focus on group planning and discussions.

French Language Cafe
First meeting, group planning and discussions will be on Thursday, 8 June 2023, starting from 6 pm to 8 pm. This program will be scheduled for 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Please book here.

Dutch Language Cafe - Nederlandstalig Taalcafé
First meeting, group planning and discussions will be on Wednesday, 21 June 2023, starting from 6 pm to 8 pm. This program will be scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. Please book here .



Arab Language Cafe - Kahwat Lugha Arabia
First meeting, group planning and discussions will be on Wednesday, 28 June 2023, starting from 6 pm to 8 pm. This program will be scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month. Please book here .
