If you've got a thing for Mexican culture, this one's right up your alley.

These types of Mexican Hearts are common motifs in religious folk art created in Mexico as a symbol of Jesus' divine love for humanity. They come in various forms; such as a heart surrounded by flames or a crown of thorns.

In collaboration with the Mexican Social and Cultural Association of Victoria (www.mexvic.org.au), this class will cover:

  • How to make your own Mexican metal heart

  • Embossing Techniques

  • Painting & Customising

  • Mexico's arts culture

  • Originally from Mexico City, teacher Flor Labana is a childhood educator who loves sharing her culture by teaching Mexican handmade art.

This class will run on Tuesday 27th October from 8:00pm - 9:15pm at The Little Mule cafe. Tickets are $19.00 and can be booked online - see website below.
