Lane Cove West is awash with parks; I even found 3 parks within walking distance of each other.
Turrumbarra Park, Lane Cove West

View of Turrumbarra Park from Centennial Ave, you can just see the steamroller
On the corner of Epping Rd and Centennial Ave Lane, Cove West, is a park many are unaware of. Park in the side streets from Centennial Ave or across the road near the motorcycle shop.
As a youngster, this was a popular park because it always had a big draw card, the Steamroller. I loved climbing over this and have very fond memories of this park and privacy due to its location.

Turrumbarra Park play equipment
As this park runs along the Highway, it has a fence near the roads, but the rest is open, and is in a gully so is protected from the wind of the cars. A timeless park with history. Access from Centennial Ave.

Further along, Centennial Avenue, near the crest of the hill, just before the speed camera, is another park; so you could do two parks within a 5 minute walk of each other. You may park here, but please check the street signs.
Charlish Park, Lane Cove West

Street view from Centennial Ave of Charlish Park
This park, offers a large oval for joggers and sports and an extreme roll hill for the adventurous kids. There's a climbing wall, slippery dip, swings, flying fox, and a table and seating.

Charlish Park,
The third and final park, is the smaller of the 3 parks, and situated in a laneway, running of Finlayson Street, Lane Cove West.
Coxs Lane Playground

Coxs Lane Playground
Just up from the intersection of Centennial Ave and Epping Rd, past the BP, is Coxs Lane. To the right is a small park, that gets a work out; great for playgroups or those coming from the squash courts.
