Lana Schwarcz is an award-winning theatre-maker and a puppeteer. This storyteller and former practitioner of circus arts has impressively trained with Henson, co-founder of the Muppets from Sesame Street and did a stint on the show. In the Lovely Lady Lump on Sunday 5 July 2020 from 6pm to 7.15pm (TICKETS), Lana's story is told with a dark streak of humour and delivered with the lightest of touch. She says, "Let me start by telling you I'm okay. I'm just in a small situation involving a pesky cancerous tumour in my left nork, but I'm not dying and I'm the luckiest person in the entire world."
Directed by Sarah Ward & Liz Skitch, do note that this show contains partial nudity and the discussion of cancer and treatments may not be recommended for children under 16 years of age. This is a double-edged sword of comedy with a serious edge. Find more details via the ticketing site link given.
