I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Lambton Park Hotel is a popular venue for the locals of the area. The terrace overlooks the green expanse of Lambton Park and is a great spot for relaxed drinks with friends.

menu has plenty of options for all diners including those that are gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan. There are daily blackboard specials such as the chilli beef in a bread bowl as well as six weekday $15 lunch specials.

The meals are in no way fine dining but are generous and filling and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The children's meals are $12 and include a soft drink and ice cream.

Happy hour with discounted drinks is 4-6pm Monday to Friday and $5 house pours are available after 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, with live music from 8:30pm. During the week there are
evening specials and on Wednesdays, children eat free. The Lambton Park Hotel has a sports bar and TAB and a big screen for watching all the footy action, meat raffles and members cash draws.
