Crispy Chicken

As first-time diners of Vietnamese food, we were extremely pleased with our recent dining experience at Lam Lam Vietnamese Restaurant located at 209 High Street in Northcote.

Green Tea served on arrival

The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived, which is always a good sign of a great eating spot. In light of this fact, we were still served promptly and in a friendly manner.

We were seated straight away and were immediately delivered refreshing Green Tea to enjoy. Upon ordering, our meals were also delivered in a timely manner.

Special Fried Rice

The Special of the day was the Crispy Chicken, which we ordered, and it certainly was special. The finely crumbed Chicken was cooked to perfection and was served topped with slices of onion, carrot and capsicum.

The meal was accompanied by a tasty Salted Sauce on the side. We also chose to order the Special Fried Rice with Egg which was delicious and filling.

After dinner we enjoyed a lovely evening stroll down High Street, checking out local buildings such as the amazing Northcote Town Hall, a beautiful Bluestone Church, the interesting shop windows and we also visited some of the shops which were still open at night, including a cute little second-hand book shop.

Whilst we were dining we noticed a lot of customers entering the store to collect their takeaway orders, which is another sure sign of a quality restaurant! Overall, we would rate this as a fantastic restaurant to try a meal, and we will definitely be return visitors ourselves.
