Just keep swimming
Tuggeranong Pool is situated beside a gorgeous park overlooking the lake. The free parking is very useful for people that try to travel light when they go swimming.

Noise levels are softened by buffers in the ceiling, and the 50m pool is divided by a bulwark, making it appear less crowded. The 50m pool has steps leading into a double-width slow lane. It is popular with teenagers outside of school hours or in school holidays, but is otherwise fairly quiet by the standards of public pools in Canberra.

The children's area has a toddler pool as well as a "beach" for younger children to walk in. It has a bubbling area in the centre of the 25m pool.

There is a steam room for adults.
