Enjoy a relaxing 8.5 - 9 km flat-surface ride along the waterfront from Eleebana to the Art Gallery to learn about the new Lake Macquarie Sculpture Trail – A permanent outdoor artwork collection that will delight and inspire.
The Tour:

You will be accompanied by your very own sculpture guide, an expert from the
Lake Macquarie Art Gallery.
You will meet at the first artwork, "Beach Blossom" located in the Eleebana Lions Park. Parking and amenities available here.
The tour will continue along, allowing you to stop at each sculpture to interact with the art, to learn more about each piece until you arrive at the art gallery.
You can choose to either wander around the Sculpture Park (part of the gallery grounds), return to Eleebana with your cycle guide or you could combine your love of art with coffee and visit the
Awaba House Café to make more of a day of it.
The eclectic sculptures you will see on the tour, come from local and international artists, which adorn the lake foreshore and is a result of the State Government's initiatives to increase local tourism.
Important participant requirements:
Moderate fitness level required.
Novices fine (however, no training wheels)
BYO bicycle and safety gear.
Ages 10 upward, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult should register.
Please wear enclosed and nonslip shoes, protective clothing, hat and sunscreen as well as wet-weather gear if required.
Pack any water and snacks you require
Even if you live outside the Lake Macquarie area, visit anytime and bring your family along to explore the sculptures on your own and have a lovely day out in nature surrounded by art.
