The brand new suburb of Lightsview is full of parks and playspaces along with some beautiful man-made lakes. It's worth taking a walk to enjoy the new facilities around the shimmering ornamental lakes.

Lightsview's central park is actually a network of parks designed to provide a wide array of activities and open spaces. You're always within walking distance of a park, playground or lake so you can easily enjoy the open spaces and family BBQs.


The central lake and park in the Waterford precinct features a series of structured landscape gardens and water features.

Heading towards the city, a series of terraced lawns provide room to spread out and look out over a wetland boardwalk and nature play area. Kids have plenty of options for climbing, swinging and jumping, all built within fenced areas laid with soft material to cushion trips and slips.




The wetlands beyond the playground give Lightsview residents a chance to get back to nature, punctuated by useful amenities like decking, fitness stations and an integrated walking, jogging and cycling trail. The central park also features tennis courts, BBQs, picnic tables and toilets.


The newest lake in Lightsview is overlooked by Jibbi and Co , the second of Lightview's eateries. The final lake under construction near Hampstead Road is set to be the biggest in the suburb yet. Watch this space.
